DevOps Engineer

CommXP is looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join its Athens team. In this role you will have the opportunity to substantially contribute in the development of exciting products for markets around the globe, employ a vast array of diverse technologies and collaborate with a highly motivated team in a dynamic environment.

What will you do?

• Improve operational efficiency for projects and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain our infrastructure, monitoring apparatus and integrations with our clients.
• Analyze project requirements and propose solutions and ideas on how to best meet the projects’ goals from a networking, computational and day to day operational perspective.
• Produce data reports requested by team members and clients.
• Collect, maintain and prepare for analysis data and logs received by clients or produced by our own products.
• Provide high quality documentation for your work.

What do you need to have?

• Substantial Experience in Linux and its CLI (1+ years of experience).
• Substantial experience in SQL and Database Design concepts. (preferably PostgreSQL) (1+ years of experience).
• Experience in cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts.

What would be nice to have?

• Experience in Java and/or Python.
• Experience in monitoring and testing tools (Prometheus, Nagios, JMeter).
• Experience in Docker/Docker Swarm.
